Therapy, to me, is a deeply personal and transformative journey—one that evolves naturally rather than following a strict roadmap. I believe in creating a space where you feel safe to explore the layers of your experience, even those that may feel too heavy or tangled to confront on your own. My approach blends practical tools to help you find relief in the present with deeper, reflective work that fosters long-term healing and self-discovery.
I have a particular interest in working with the subtle yet profound impacts of childhood experiences, especially for those raised by emotionally immature parents. These early dynamics can echo into adulthood, shaping how we connect with others and with ourselves. Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, or relationship challenges, I aim to meet you where you are, drawing from humanistic and existential therapies to help you find meaning and clarity. For those drawn to deeper exploration, I often integrate dream work and the unconscious to uncover hidden insights.
My work is also informed by lived experience. I understand the unique struggles of first responders, military members, and their families, having walked alongside these challenges in my own life. I know how difficult it can be to balance care for others with care for yourself, especially when trauma, PTSD, or mental health concerns affect those you love. These experiences, along with a decade of marriage and raising three children, have given me a grounded perspective that I bring to every session.
If you’re seeking a space to reclaim your voice after narcissistic abuse, navigate complex relationships, or reconnect with yourself, I am here to walk alongside you. My practice isn’t about quick fixes or rigid techniques—it’s about creating an authentic connection where we can explore your challenges with curiosity and compassion. If a more structured approach like CBT or DBT feels like a better fit for you, I’d be happy to help you find the right therapist to support those goals.
Reach out anytime if this resonates with you. I look forward to supporting your journey.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), and I work closely with a supervisor (RSW, MSW), which means most extended benefits plans cover the cost of therapy with me! Please check with your insurance provider to ensure you have the coverage you need.
I am now welcoming clients to my new office at 400 Chilver Road, in the charming Walkerville area of Windsor, Ontario. This cozy location offers a quiet, comfortable space for in-person therapy sessions. For those who enjoy a comforting coffee or tea before or after their session, Anchor Coffee is just two blocks away, making it the perfect spot to unwind.
I offer in-person and virtual therapy for individuals and couples, with availability during days, evenings, and weekends to suit your schedule. Virtual therapy is available throughout Ontario, as well as in some other provinces and territories. Get in touch if you're located outside of Ontario so we can ensure my services are available where you are.
Individual therapy sessions are $130/50 minutes, and couples therapy sessions are $150/50 minutes. Extended sessions are available for those who want a more intensive therapy experience; contact me to discuss this option. I take payment by cash or debit/credit card. Payment is due on the day services are provided and you will be provided with a receipt.
In some cases, I can claim session fees directly from your insurance provider. This means that you do not pay on the day of your session and I make the claim directly to your provider for reimbursement. Please contact me to check if your insurance company is eligible for this option. In cases where your insurance claim is denied for any reason, session fees will be charged to your credit/debit card on file.
Insurance plans and extended health benefits generally cover my services. Please check with your benefits provider to ensure you are covered for either Registered Psychotherapists/Psychotherapy or RSW/MSW (Social Workers).
I don't want anyone to go without therapy because they can't afford the fees. While I believe I deserve to earn money for the work I do, I also offer 3 low rate spots for people that cannot pay my fees. If those 3 spots are full, I have a referral list of therapists that offer low cost or free therapy. Contact me to inquire about any issues regarding fees or payment.
